Transportation
SAA students are transported with buses of the Centre de services scolaire des Laurentides (CSSL). Bus schedules are available at the end of August each year. As per the CSSL guidelines, students must take their assigned buses to and from school. Changes are not allowed.
Below are the SWLSB bus safety rules.
Arrival
Student supervision starts at 8:45 a.m. Students cannot arrive at school before this time. Elementary students are to go directly to the playground upon arrival in the morning. High School students are to remain in front of the school. No student is to enter the building before the bell without permission from an adult supervisor.
Dismissal/Pick-Up During the Day
Elementary students being picked up during the day will remain in the school until a parent or authorized adult arrives. Parent pick-up and sign out occurs in the office. Students will not be released to anyone except the responsible parent(s), unless the office has been notified. Secondary students must sign out at the office if feeling ill, for a personal family matter, or an appointment. An email from the parents or contact with parents is essential before any “sign-out” can be authorized.
End of Day Pick-up
The school day ends at 4:10 p.m.
For Elementary, parents inform the teacher in writing in the agenda or advise the office by phone (819-326-2563 ext. 8905) or by email (claferte@swlauriersb.qc.ca) before 2:00 p.m. Students taking the bus are dismissed at 4:10 p.m. Students being picked-up are dismissed after busses have left. Cars follow busses to the side of the school. For security reasons, parents should avoid picking-up their child between 3:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.
